In an effort to promote healthy living through exercise, the students of the Community Service Program (KKN) 55 Group 4 from UIN SAIZU Purwokerto organized a group exercise event with the residents of Bantarmangu Village, Cimanggu District. This event took place on the morning of Sunday, February 2, 2025, from 7:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Bantarmangu Village Sports Hall. The group exercise activity is one of the flagship programs of KKN 55 Group 4, aimed at raising awareness about the importance of a healthy lifestyle while fostering a more harmonious and enjoyable community atmosphere. This initiative was made possible through the collaboration between the KKN students and the local residents, with support from the village government and the neighborhood head, who assisted in encouraging participation among the community members. Additionally, Mrs. Ani contributed by providing facilities such as a sound system and microphone. "This exercise session is different. Usually, there are no door prizes, and it’s just with the residents. But now, there are kind older siblings involved. It makes us more enthusiastic and joyful. I hope there will be more events like this in the future," stated Mrs. Ata, a resident of Bantarmangu, who received a door prize. The inclusion of door prizes was intentionally designed to attract residents and enhance their motivation to attend the event. Although the prizes were modest, they effectively encouraged community participation. The exercise session proceeded smoothly and with great enthusiasm. It is hoped that this activity will motivate the residents of Bantarmangu to engage in regular exercise and maintain their health. The village head and the community members welcomed the initiative from the KKN team and expressed their desire for similar activities to continue, thereby fostering a culture of healthy living through exercise. With the strong collaboration between the KKN students and the village government, this event not only served to strengthen community ties but also provided long-term benefits in establishing healthy lifestyle habits.
