HOKA Launches Pop-Up Experience To Celebrate The Release Of Bondi 9

HOKA, a leading brand in running and sports shoes, is excited to launch its latest shoe, the BONDI 9, along with the BONDI 9 Experience. This program is part of the Everybody Bondi campaign, inspired by the exceptional comfort and performance of the new HOKA Bondi 9.

This time, HOKA is not just focusing on running; it combines sports and lifestyle with the Bondi 9 Experience in Jakarta. HOKA showcases the latest technology used in the Bondi 9 across major cities worldwide. In Jakarta, the Bondi 9 Experience will take place at Ashta District 8, Plaza SCBD Lobby area from February 20 to March 8, 2025.

According to Gery Halim, Brand Marketing Division Manager for HOKA Indonesia, "In line with HOKA's mission to empower all athletes to experience maximum freedom and comfort while running, we believe that running, walking, fitness activities, and outdoor pursuits are for everyone. That's why we are launching the new BONDI 9 collection. Through the Bondi 9 Experience, we invite everyone to learn more about the HOKA brand and the technology behind the BONDI 9 shoes."

The Bondi 9 Experience offers visitors a unique experience, resembling a mystery box from HOKA. Attendees can explore various interactive areas showcasing the features and technology of the new Bondi 9. Additionally, HOKA shoe users can enjoy personalized shoe laser engraving, allowing them to create unique designs or labels on their shoes during the booth's operation.

Bondi 9 Experience is part of the launch of HOKA's latest shoe, the Bondi 9. This shoe features a new premium midsole made with supercritical foamed EVA technology, providing soft and comfortable cushioning that Bondi is known for. The material is lighter, more durable, and more responsive, ensuring maximum comfort for everyday wear. The updated midsole design, along with the Active Foot Frame™ feature at the heel, offers better support and control. Additionally, the shoe has a 2 mm height increase and a smoother MetaRocker™ sole for a more comfortable running experience.

The upper part of the shoe is made from specially designed knitted material that enhances comfort and allows for good airflow. To further improve comfort, HOKA has introduced a new 3D padded collar that feels softer and makes it easier to wear. The sole is covered with abrasion-resistant rubber for extra durability in high-wear areas, ensuring optimal traction even after extensive use.

“Bondi was the first shoe to introduce the concept of a road running shoe with maximum cushioning,” said Bekah Broe, Senior Director of Product for Performance Footwear at HOKA. “Bondi 9 takes innovation further with even more luxurious and comfortable cushioning, demonstrating HOKA's commitment to making running accessible to everyone.”

Additionally, HOKA is launching The Bondi 9 Week Challenge, a 9-week fitness transformation program inviting participants to run 9 miles (14.4 km) each week. This program is part of the Everybody Bondi campaign, inspired by the maximum comfort and outstanding performance of the new Bondi 9 shoe.

The Bondi 9 Week Challenge is HOKA's initiative to encourage more people to enjoy the benefits of running as part of a healthy lifestyle.
