Simple Lifestyle That Can Prevent Cancer At An Early Age

Tuesday, 06 May 2025

Cancer is a disease characterized by uncontrolled abnormal cell growth that can potentially spread to other parts of the body. Cells in this cancer can damage normal body tissue and become tumors. In its type, cancer is divided into several types.

Starting from eye cancer to cervical cancer that attacks the female genital organs. This cancer can be dangerous and potentially fatal because when cells in the body mutate they can divide uncontrollably.

These cancer cells take nutrients from healthy cells around them until healthy cells do not get enough nutrients to function properly. Cells that spread to parts of the body are channeled through the blood or lymphatic system known as the metastasis process.

In order to prevent cancer, there are a number of ways that can be done such as combining a healthy lifestyle with early detection and vaccination.

This healthy lifestyle includes a good diet, regular exercise, and avoiding cigarettes and excessive alcohol.

In addition, early detection through routine examinations and screening can also be done in order to detect cancer in the early stages. Vaccination can also be done by giving hepatitis B and HPV.

In line with cancer prevention, the Indonesian Ministry of Health collaborated with CRUK (Cancer Research United Kingdom) in creating a seminar on 'Implementation of Precision Medicine in Health Services'.
