Dozens of elderly residents (lansia) enthusiastically participated in the activity entitled LANSIA CERIA (Smart Eating, Maintained Energy, Relax Everyday, Join Elderly Gymnastics, Overcome Stress) which was held by Midwifery Students in the Professional Practice of Midwives V of the Guna Bangsa Health Sciences College, Yogyakarta in Dukuh Sorosutan, Kecemen Manisrenggo, Klaten, April 22, 2025. The LANSIA CERIA program aims to increase awareness of the elderly about the importance of a healthy and happy lifestyle in old age. In addition, this activity is also a forum to strengthen relations between students and the community. Professional Practice of Midwives V consists of 14 people, including Dianita Widya Gandhi, Ayu Andini Suganda Putri, Achnes Sija, Nadya Safira, Ayuke Rasekina, Fatimah Sari, Risfa Mulya Septiana Utami, Desy Syswianti, Rahmalia, Dira Putri Ayu, Sri Wahyuni ??Fatmawati, Arlina Setiyani Yulandari, Tina Sani and Mahfiyani. This group was directly accompanied by Lidia Febrianti STrKeb M.Keb and Dian Monalisa STrKeb MKeb. "We are very happy to see the enthusiasm of the elderly. Hopefully, programs like this can continue and have a positive impact on public health. With a cheerful and warm spirit, this activity is proof that age is not a barrier to staying active, healthy and happy," said the Head of the Activity Group Dianita Widya Gandhi in her statement, Wednesday (7/5/2025). Meanwhile, Kecemen Village Head, Sri Harningsih hopes that this activity will provide great benefits for the elderly in her area, both in terms of physical and mental health. "We really welcome activities like this because they can increase the awareness of the elderly about the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. They also feel cared for, more enthusiastic and not feel alone in facing old age," said Sri Harningsih.
