HST Regent Releases Thousands Of Fun Bike Cyclists To Promote Healthy Lifestyle

The Regent of Hulu Sungai Tengah (HST), South Kalimantan (Kalsel) Samsul Rizal released thousands of participants in the HST Fun Bike event that took place at the Dwi Warna Barabai Field. 

"The activities of the cycling community in HST are very good, aiming to promote health, environmental awareness, and a spirit of togetherness through cycling," said Regent Samsul Rizal in Barabai, HST Regency, Sunday. 

This event was initiated by the Murakata Cycling Community (KBM) in collaboration with the HST PKK Team, attended by thousands of participants from Hulu Sungai Tengah and Banua Anam, even from Martapura, Tanah Bumbu to Banjarmasin. 

Regent Samsul Rizal said that this fun bike is not only a sports and recreation event, but also a means to strengthen ties between residents and encourage them to adopt a healthy lifestyle. 

"Cycling is a form of sport that is environmentally friendly, healthy, and fun, and contributes to physical fitness while reducing air pollution," he said. 

The Regent hopes that through this activity, the spirit of healthy living will grow in the community and appealed to all participants to continue to maintain safety when cycling, obey traffic regulations, and respect other road users. 

The Regent, who is familiarly called Bang Rizal, appreciated the organizing committee, as well as all the cycling communities who participated in enlivening the event. 

"Congratulations on participating in the fun bike activity, with the hope that this event will run smoothly, safely, and provide benefits for all involved. Let's pedal our bikes with a spirit of togetherness," he said. 

After the farewell ceremony, HST Regent Samsul Rizal together with HST PKK Chairperson Deni Era Yulyantie and elements of the HST Forkopimda also took part in cycling according to the predetermined route, until after that door prizes were distributed to lucky participants.
