Aqua Strengthens Its Commitment To A Healthy Lifestyle And Sustainability

Aqua continues to support the world of sports as part of its commitment to a healthy lifestyle and sustainability. This support is manifested through various initiatives, sponsorships, and strategic collaborations.

One such form of support is Aqua's partnership with PSSI through PT Garuda Sepak Bola Indonesia (GSI), making Aqua the official mineral water of the Indonesian National Football Team.

"This collaboration, which began in 2024, represents Aqua's full support for the efforts of the national team athletes in achieving their goals," stated Karyanto Wibowo, Senior Public Affairs and Sustainability Director of Danone Indonesia, on Saturday (24/5). He emphasized that Aqua provides quality hydration for the players, both during matches and training.

Recently, the coaching staff of the Indonesian Senior National Team visited a conservation program at the Aqua Mambal factory in Bali. Head coach Patrick Kluivert appreciated this support and hopes that this collaboration can enhance achievements on the international stage.

Aqua has long supported sports, including through the AquaDanone Nations Cup (DNC), the largest U-12 football tournament in Indonesia, which has helped thousands of young players realize their dreams, including becoming national team players.

Karyanto added that Aqua is committed to providing high-quality drinking water that is pure from the mountains, through a stringent selection process involving 9 criteria, 5 stages, and 650 testing parameters.

Not only focused on production, Aqua is also actively preserving water resources through multi-stakeholder collaborations. One such initiative is in Bongkasa Pertiwi Village, Bali, through conservation programs, biogas energy utilization, eco-educational tourism development, the preservation of Bali Starlings and White Starlings, as well as the cultivation of trigona bees that produce high-quality honey.

Karyanto emphasized that all these initiatives reflect Aqua's commitment to maintaining the ecosystem and ensuring water sustainability for future generations.
