Deputy for Health Improvement Coordination of the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture (PMK), Dr. dr. Sukadiono MM, reminded the importance of improving lifestyle to prevent various chronic diseases. According to him, a lifestyle with minimal exercise, lack of rest, and excessive and unhealthy eating patterns has become the root of many health problems. He conveyed this to Maklumat.ID when in Mojokerto, Sunday (6/29/2025), responding to the results of the Free Health Check (CKG) in several places in Indonesia. The results found that various diseases that dominate the community are such as obesity, diabetes, hypertension, and dental problems. ? "Yes, so CKG, free health checks, are indeed in order to do early detection. For our community who may have rarely done early check-ups," said the man who is familiarly called Dr. Suko. He explained that early detection provides a great opportunity to anticipate health conditions before they become severe. For people who have been diagnosed with obesity, hypertension, or are at risk of stroke, he emphasized the importance of immediately taking steps to change. "Especially in our lifestyle, our way of life. Well, our lifestyle, of course, must first be balanced, between rest, exercise, and of course, maintaining what we consume," he said. Furthermore, Sukadiono also mentioned that the principle of healthy living has long been taught in religious teachings. He reminded that Allah has commanded humans to eat and drink, but also advised not to be excessive.
