Embracing A Sustainable Lifestyle Concept, Pertamina Eco RunFest 2025 Will Open Soon

Monday, 21 Jul 2025

The Pertamina Eco RunFest 2025, themed "Energizing The Unity," will feature a sustainable and environmentally friendly lifestyle concept at Istora Senayan, Jakarta, on November 23, 2025. Arya Dwi Paramita, Corporate Secretary of PT Pertamina (Persero), stated that the concept of clean, environmentally friendly energy stems from the success of Pertamina Eco RunFest 2024. That year, the event managed to manage nearly 7 tons of waste, which was then processed into new products, such as compost and animal feed, and alternative fuels for non-recyclable residues through a partnership with Waste4Change. "Throughout Pertamina Eco RunFest 2025, we ensured that waste was properly managed, ensuring a clean environment," he explained in a press release on Thursday (July 17, 2025). Pertamina's Vice President of Corporate Communication, Fadjar Djoko Santoso, stated that through Pertamina Eco RunFest 2025, his company also educates the public about maintaining a clean environment.

"We also provide education on organic and inorganic waste in the running route area and festival area with Waste4Change partners," he said in a press statement, Thursday (7/17/2025). At Pertamina Eco RunFest 2025, said Fadjar, Pertamina collaborated with the Greeners community by presenting creative classes on recycling plastic, textile, and organic waste for visitors, as well as displaying Art Installations from recycled materials. "Pertamina Eco RunFest 2025 also educates the public to carry out the upcycling process by turning leftover fabrics from the garment industry and plastic waste into more useful products," he explained. Fadjar emphasized that through Pertamina Eco RunFest 2025, his party invites participants and visitors to be part of realizing clean energy. This is done by processing and utilizing waste, such as used pants, rags, and plastic into items that have utility.
