GoFood, the online food delivery service from Gojek, part of PT GoToGojek Tokopedia, Tbk (BEI:GOTO), introduces the latest innovation of GoFood PAS feature, a Budget Package with a fixed price of Rp22,000. With GoFood PAS, users can enjoy a variety of curated and satisfying culinary menus from selected restaurants. This price already includes delivery and handling fees, making it suitable for users who want to enjoy delicious food while saving money.

In addition to providing satisfying and budget-friendly culinary options, the GoFood PAS innovation is also an effort by GoFood to continuously increase the visibility of culinary players and MSME partners in the eyes of consumers. This is in line with the spirit of the GoTo Group, a company created by the nation's children who #StriveForIndonesia, in this case, encouraging culinary MSMEs to continue to grow and develop through the utilization of available technology within the GoTo ecosystem.

GedeManggala, Vice President of Regions at Gojek, said, "At Gojek, we consistently study the needs of the community and user behavior to continue innovating. The idea of the GoFood PAS feature was born from the trend of GoFood users who mostly choose complete and satisfying meals such as rice dishes with chicken or fried rice in the 'budget meal' category. Not only that, we also see the average order value in that category ranging from Rp22-25,000 depending on the city."

"The GoFood PAS innovation is the first of its kind in the online food delivery industry in Indonesia, where users can experience the fullness, affordability, and certainty of the price. In addition to offering curated menus with fixed final prices, users do not need to worry because GoFood PAS offers all-inclusive prices including food, delivery, and handling fees," Gede continued.

One of the favorite restaurants that can be found on GoFood PAS is Happy Egg Rice Restaurant, which has been a part of GoFood since 2019. Ahmad Maftuh Ihsan, the owner of Nasi Telur Bahagia restaurant, shares how the utilization of digital technology like GoFood has helped his business to continuously grow, even during the pandemic where his small business managed to survive and achieve a 50% increase in revenue.

"GoFood never stops innovating. Since the introduction of GoFood PAS feature in the past month, the number of orders for our affordable menu has doubled because it effectively meets the needs of people who are increasingly fond of finding pocket-friendly menus," says Ihsan.

GoFood PAS is now available for users in 13 cities in Indonesia, including Jabodetabek, Bandung, Surabaya, Medan, Bali, Yogyakarta, Malang, Palembang, Semarang, Solo, Bandar Lampung, Pekanbaru, and Makassar.
