Complete List Of National Police Transfers: Commissioner General Dedi, Deputy Chief Of Police, Inspector General Asep Edi, Chief Of The Metro Jaya Police

National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo has transferred several high-ranking and mid-ranking officers. In this transfer, General Sigit appointed Commissioner General Dedi Prasetyo as Deputy Chief of Police. 

This transfer was outlined in Telegram Letter Number: ST/1764/VIII/KEP./2025, dated August 5, 2025. The letter was signed directly by the AS SDM, Inspector General Anwar. 

Commissioner General Dedi's previous position as Inspector General for General Supervision and Supervision is now filled by Commissioner General Wahyu Widada, previously the Chief of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police. Meanwhile, the position of Chief of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police is now filled by Commissioner General Syahardiantono. 

The position vacated by Commissioner General Syahardiantono, Head of the Intelligence and Security Agency, is filled by Commissioner General Akhmad Wiyagus, previously the Assistant Operations Officer of the National Police Chief. 

Furthermore, the National Police Chief appointed Inspector General Asep Edi Suheri as Chief of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police. Inspector General Asep Edi previously served as Deputy Chief of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police. 

The previous Metro Jaya Police Chief, Inspector General Karyoto, was appointed to a new position. Karyoto was promoted to Head of the National Police's Security and Public Order Agency (Baharkam). 

The following is a complete list of National Police Chief transfers: 

1. Commissioner General Dedi Prasetyo was appointed to a new position as Deputy Chief of Police. 

2. Commissioner General Wahyu Widada was appointed to a new position as Inspector General of Supervision of the National Police. 

3. Commissioner General Syahardiantono was appointed to a new position as Chief of the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency. 

4. Commissioner General Akhmad Wiyagus was appointed to a new position as Head of the National Police Intelligence and Security Agency. 

5. Commissioner General Mohammad Fadil Imran was appointed to a new position as Assistant Operations Officer of the National Police Chief. 

6. Inspector General Karyoto was appointed to a new position as Head of the National Police Security and Security Agency. 

7. Inspector General Asep Edi Suheri was appointed to a new position as Chief of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police. 

8. Inspector General Adang Ginanjar, Chief of the West Sulawesi Regional Police, was transferred to the position of Chief of the West Sulawesi Regional Police (due to retirement).
