Maximize Digital Technology: Mobile Applications Continue To Evolve In Indonesia

Thursday, 02 Jan 2025

The advancement of digital technology has significantly enhanced the accessibility and speed of services. Consequently, the government is actively promoting the utilization of digital technology, particularly in the financial services sector.

Currently, mobile applications are widely adopted, enabling individuals to access their accounts and conduct financial transactions via mobile devices such as smartphones or tablets, anytime and anywhere. One such initiative is being undertaken by PT BFI Finance Indonesia Tbk, which is in the process of developing the BFI Mobile application. This application is compatible with both iOS and Android mobile operating systems.

"With a customer-centric service approach, the company is developing products and services tailored to the increasingly diverse needs of consumers. Through this mobile application, we aim to prioritize transaction security, accountability, and transparency, offering a variety of available features," stated Rudy Eddywidjaja, Deputy Business Director of BFI Finance, in a press release on Monday, December 30, 2024.

He explained that the application is designed not only for existing customers but also for the general public to access financing information. Currently, BFI Mobile offers key features that are integrated with financing application channels, estimation of installment calculations and maximum loan values, monitoring application status, installment calculators, and bill information checks for consumers.

The financing products available within the application include cash loans, financing for used car purchases, home ownership loans (KPR), and Sharia financing. "In this highly dynamic era, we continuously adapt to the rapidly changing consumer behavior. The development of BFI Mobile will be carried out in phases to enrich its features, making it more effective and increasingly user-friendly for all demographics," Rudy added.
