Apple Preparing New Smart Home Products, Ready To Launch Late 2025 To Early 2026

Apple continues to expand its innovations beyond traditional products. Now, Apple is focusing on targeting the smart home market with new products that are expected to be launched from late 2025 to early 2026. 

After previously launching the HomePod and HomePod mini which have not achieved maximum success, Apple has not given up. Currently, the company is preparing to try again with several new smart home products. 

According to Mark Gurman, Apple is developing a fairly unique smart home device. One of them is an iPad-like device equipped with a robotic arm, as quoted from Bloomberg, Thursday (5/29/2025). 

Although it sounds futuristic, this device is still a mystery. Until now, there has been no detailed information about its main function. 

In addition, Apple is also developing a lower-end model without a robotic arm. This device is known to have the code name J490. 

This product is expected to be released sooner, but Apple is still perfecting the Siri voice assistant feature before launch. If all goes well, the device could be released in late 2025.
