Oppo A5 And A5x Officially Present In Indonesia

Oppo officially launched the latest Oppo A5 and Oppo A5x smartphones in Indonesia. Carrying the nickname Jagonya Bertahan, these two devices are claimed to be specially designed to support an active lifestyle with extraordinary durability and reliable performance. 

These two latest Oppo smartphones are equipped with IP65 certification for water and dust resistance, military standards for impact resistance, and a large 6,000mAh battery that is claimed to last up to five years of use. 

Oppo explained that the Oppo A5 and A5x are designed with long-lasting toughness, equipped with IP65 certification that protects against water and dust. The closed design of the carrier is claimed to be able to prevent particles such as sand, dust, and fabric fibers from entering the inside of the phone. 

This smartphone is also resistant to liquids such as rainwater and spilled drinks. Oppo provides both with additional protection including a silicone layer on the SIM tray and a waterproof socket on the USB-C port. 

In addition, Oppo also provides its latest smartphones with special glue and foam pads on the inside of the device, intended to help reduce vibrations and impacts, minimize the risk of damage and extend the service life. 

Oppo A5 and A5x also have military-standard Shock Resistance certification and the SGS Gold Label award. This smartphone carries a double-layered glass screen with 160% higher impact resistance than ordinary glass, while the high-strength metal alloy frame is precisely designed to protect the core components. 

Oppo also emphasized that laboratory testing proved that both devices are able to withstand drops, key scratches, and extreme scenarios such as being run over by vehicles. Meanwhile, with a jumbo battery with a capacity of 6,000mAh, Oppo claims that the Oppo A5 and A5x will answer the needs of a modern life with dense activity. 

The centralized-tab battery design used by Oppo on the A5 and A5x is said to be able to reduce internal resistance, accelerate charging and discharging, minimize heat, and increase stability and security. 

Thus, both devices are claimed to be able to be used for YouTube streaming for up to 16.34 hours, making voice calls for 26.6 hours, and standby for up to 450 hours. Oppo A5 and A5x also offer a battery life of up to 5 years. 

Both smartphones are claimed to be able to maintain more than 80% of their original capacity after 1,700 charging cycles, thanks to a combination of hardware and software innovations. Oppo's new smartphone battery is also accompanied by 45W SUPERVOOC Flash Charge fast charging technology, charging up to 30% in 21 minutes, and 100% in 84 minutes. 

Oppo A5 and A5x use ColorOS 15, presenting various advanced AI features, including Google Gemini AI assistant, supporting smooth performance and increasing productivity. Oppo A5 is equipped with a 50MP Ultra-Clear main camera, 2MP depth camera, and 5MP front camera.
