A Series Of Realme Phones Have The Chance To Get Android 17

Realme is rumored to soon launch Realme UI 7, based on Android 16. Considering that Google released Android 16 earlier in June 2025, this update is expected to arrive sooner for various devices, including those from the Realme brand. 

Realme itself has been actively working on Android 16 and has even offered early beta access since March. With the stable version approaching, many Realme users are naturally wondering if their devices will receive this update. 

As reported by Gizmochina, Wednesday, July 15, 2026, here is a list of Realme devices expected to be eligible for the Realme UI 7 (Android 16) update. Please note, this list is unofficial and based on Realme's existing software update policy and some estimates. We will update this list once an official announcement is made from Realme. 

Realme Phones Expected to Receive Realme UI 7 (Android 16) 

Here are the Realme GT Series models that are already available in Indonesia and ready to receive the latest OS update: 

The Realme GT 3, known for its super-fast charging, has arrived in Indonesia and will be one of the recipients of the Realme UI 7 update. Realme GT 5 Pro: The Pro variant of the GT 5 series has also been released in Indonesia and is confirmed to receive Android 16. Realme GT 6: As one of the newest models, the Realme GT 6 is naturally on the priority list for this latest OS update. 

The Realme 14 Series, the latest lineup, was recently released in Indonesia around April-May 2025. Almost all models are confirmed to be among the first to receive Android 16. This includes the Realme 14 (5G), Realme 14 Pro (5G), Realme 14 Pro+ (5G), Realme 14T (5G), and Realme 14x. 

The Realme 13 Series, which will launch in Indonesia around September-October 2024, is also not left out. The Realme 13 (LTE/5G), Realme 13+ (5G), Realme 13 Pro, and Realme 13 Pro+ are confirmed to receive this important update. 

The Realme 12 Series will also receive this update, along with the Realme 12 (LTE/5G), Realme 12+ (5G), Realme 12 Pro, Realme 12 Pro+ (5G), Realme 12 Lite, and Realme 12x. These devices are also included in the list of devices to be updated to Realme UI 7 based on Android 16. 

Realme C Series models already available in the Indonesian market and confirmed to receive the Android 16 (Realme UI 7) update include the Realme C61, Realme C63 (LTE/5G), Realme C65 (LTE/5G), and Realme C67 (LTE). 

Important Notes Regarding Realme's Update Policy 

While Realme is quite prompt in releasing software updates, their long-term policy still needs improvement compared to other Android brands. 

Realme has typically offered only three Android updates for its high-end GT series. However, with the launch of the GT 7 series, they have increased their update promise to four.
