As technology and innovation in heart disease treatment continue to evolve, Dr. M. Yamin, the head of the BraveHeart medical team, is organizing a scientific discussion titled “Structural Cardiac Intervention Update” on August 11, 2024, at the Fairmont Hotel in Jakarta.

The event will feature expert speakers and panelists with over 40 years of experience in cardiology. Among them is Prof. Amiliana Mardiani Soesanto, who will discuss “Role of Interventional Imaging in SCI,” and Prof. Teguh Santoso, who will share his deep knowledge and clinical skills in handling complex heart cases.

BraveHeart is also excited to welcome Dr. Kwan S. Lee, an interventional cardiologist from the Mayo Clinic in the U.S., known for his expertise in complex coronary diseases and structural heart interventions. He’s been specially invited by the Mayo Clinic’s International Representative for Indonesia. Dr. Lee is part of the American College of Cardiology and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography & Interventions, with a keen interest in international community activities in Southeast Asia.

Dr. Kwan S. He shares his insights and expertise on the combination of coronary imaging, physiology, artificial intelligence, and advanced catheterization lab technology to achieve optimal PCI outcomes. A panel of cardiology experts, including Dr. Doni Firman, Sp.JP (K), FIHA, and Dr. Celly A. Atmadikoesoemah, Sp.JP (K), FIHA, FAsCC, MMedEd, contributed to a lively discussion, bringing diverse insights from various speakers. The event was initiated by Dr. M. Yamin, Sp.JP (K), Sp.PD, FACC, FSCAI, FAPHRS, FHRS, who stated, “The goal of the RTD Structural Cardiac Intervention Update is to exchange knowledge so that the BraveHeart Center can become a comprehensive service for heart, vascular, and brain health.” The BraveHeart team is dedicated to providing top-notch care for heart conditions, including coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, structural heart issues, congenital heart defects, and peripheral vascular diseases. Interestingly, these conditions can be treated through non-invasive or surgical methods, depending on the case. Pediatric heart diseases are also a focus for the BraveHeart team. Intensive cardiac patient management is part of their expertise, and they are proactive in preventing diseases like coronary artery disease and sudden cardiac death.
