PT ANEM Supports The Record-Breaking Disability Day Event

PT. Anugrah Neo Energy Materials (ANEM) proudly took part in the International Day of Persons with Disabilities celebration by supporting the Sport with Disabilities event initiated by the Attorney General's Office of the Republic of Indonesia. This event took place on December 7, 2024, at Plaza Utara, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), Jakarta. As part of its commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Neo Energy contributed as a supporter to provide assistance for this remarkable event.

The Sport with Disabilities event was a fantastic celebration of inclusivity and empowerment, attracting over 2,500 participants. It set a record with the Museum of Indonesian Records (MURI) for the "Largest Healthy Walk for Persons with Disabilities in Indonesia," showcasing a spirit of unity and diversity that fosters positive change in society.

Accompanying the Acting Governor were the Acting Mayor of East Jakarta, Lin Mutmainnah, the Head of the DKI Jakarta Social Service, Premi Lasari, the Head of the DKI Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Office, Budi Awaluddin, and the Head of the DKI Jakarta Youth and Sports Office, Andri Yansyah. The event also featured medal-winning athletes from the National Paralympic Week (Peparnas) in Solo, along with the symbolic distribution of social assistance and Child Identity Cards (KIA) from the Acting Governor to persons with disabilities.

Additional activities included free health check-ups, a bazaar for disability-focused small businesses, distribution of basic food packages, and the issuance of Child Population Identification Numbers (NIK).

The event was further enlivened by several activities, including:

? DJ Performance: An exciting show by DJ Claudia that energized the atmosphere.

? Zumba Session: Led by Zin Effi and Zin Virzha to kick off the day with high energy.

? Historic Fun Walk: A record-breaking healthy walk promoting inclusivity and unity.

? Inspirational Performances:

? Deaf Dance by participants from the Audisi program.

A performance of Angklung by talented individuals with disabilities took place.

? A meaningful talk show hosted by Hotman Paris and Grace Anggelica featured inspiring discussions.

? Celebrity appearances included Raffi Ahmad and Uya Kuya, adding excitement to the event.

? The show concluded with stunning performances by Ariani Nisma Putri and Nella Kharisma.

"With this event, we aim to raise awareness for our friends with disabilities, starting with the Adhyaksa Runners community to create this wonderful celebration with 2,321 participants with disabilities. Together, we celebrate the strength and incredible potential of individuals with disabilities through sports, arts, small businesses, and education," said Prof. Dr. Reda Manthovani, S.H., LL. M., the event's initiator during his speech. "On this International Day of Persons with Disabilities, I see an amazing spirit; these friends are not disabled but fully able, meaning they have extraordinary strengths and enthusiasm. They do not have shortcomings; they possess unique advantages," said Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak, a committee member of the Sport with Disabilities event. The event, attended by the DKI Jakarta provincial government, also represents equality and care for individuals with disabilities. The DKI Jakarta government will continue to work on providing accessibility in public spaces and job opportunities for people with special needs. PT.
