The campaign team for gubernatorial candidate Ridwan Kamil (RK) and his running mate Suswono, who are listed as number 1, has decided not to file a dispute regarding the election results for the Jakarta 2024 gubernatorial election with the Constitutional Court (MK). Similarly, the campaign team for the number 2 candidates, Dharma Pongrekun and Kun Wardana, has also refrained from contesting the same issue with the court. According to observations by Kompas.com as of Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at 23:59 WIB, no representatives from the winning teams of the Coalition for Advanced Indonesia (KIM) Plus or the independent candidates arrived at the MK. Furthermore, the official MK website does not list their names among the disputes concerning the 2024 election results. Notably, the RK-Suswono team had visited the MK on Monday, December 9, 2024, for consultations regarding this matter. In contrast, the Dharma-Kun team had previously declined to sign the recap results during the Jakarta KPUD plenary meeting. According to Law Number 10 of 2016 concerning regional elections, candidates have until three working days after the KPU announces the vote tally to submit a request to the MK. The Jakarta KPUD announced the vote recap results on Sunday, December 8, 2024, which means the deadline for filing a dispute regarding the election results was Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at 23:59 WIB. It is important to note that the Jakarta General Election Commission (KPUD) declared the number 3 candidates, Pramono Anung and Rano Karno, as the winners in a single round of the Jakarta gubernatorial election, securing 50.07 percent of the votes. This determination was based on the vote recap results released by the Jakarta KPUD on Sunday, November 8, 2024. The vote totals indicated that Ridwan Kamil and Suswono received 1,718,160 votes, Dharma Pongrekun and Kun Wardana garnered 459,230 votes, while Pramono Anung and Rano Karno achieved 2,183,239 votes.
