BI Records Foreign Capital Entering RI Reaching IDR 5.20 Trillion In The Second Week Of June 2025

Bank Indonesia (BI) revealed that foreign capital inflows into the Indonesian financial market in the second week of June 2025 reached IDR 5.20 trillion. This consists of net purchases in the stock market and Government Securities (SBN). 

Head of the BI Communication Department Ramdan Denny Prakoso said that based on transaction data from 10-12 June 2025, there had been a net purchase of IDR 0.83 trillion in the stock market, and IDR 5.08 trillion in the SBN market, as well as a net sale of IDR 0.71 trillion in Bank Indonesia Rupiah Securities (SRBI). 

"Based on transaction data from 10-12 June 2025, non-residents recorded a net purchase of IDR 5.20 trillion," Denny said in his statement quoted on Saturday, June 14, 2025. 

Denny explained that the five-year investment risk premium (Credit Default Swaps/CDS) in Indonesia as of June 12, 2025 fell to 73.47 basis points (bps). 

"Indonesia's 5-year CDS premium as of June 12, 2025 was 73.47 bps, down compared to June 6, 2025 of 75.92 bps," he explained. Meanwhile, during 2025, based on settlement data up to June 12, 2025, non-residents recorded a net sell of IDR 47.54 trillion in the stock market and IDR 21.82 trillion in SRBI, and a net buy of IDR 53.91 trillion in the SBN market.
