Minister Of Finance Welcomes The State Revenue Task Force Formed By The Chief Of Police

Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani welcomed the formation of the Special Task Force for Optimizing State Revenue which focuses on assisting ministries in increasing state revenue in various sectors under the leadership of National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo. Sri Mulyani said the formation of the Special Task Force was important to support a healthy State Budget (APBN).

"Of course it is a positive thing to continue to support because our healthy APBN must be supported by strong state revenue," said Sri Mulyani in a press conference for the June 2025 edition of Our APBN seen on the Ministry of Finance's YouTube channel, quoted Wednesday (6/18/2025).

Sri Mulyani supports the initiative of the National Police Chief General Sigit regarding the formation of this special task force. Sri Mulyani admitted that she was also invited when the special task force was first formed by the National Police.

"Regarding state revenue, especially the initiative from the Police regarding the formation of a special task force and this is not something new, actually this special task force, the Special Task Force from the Republic of Indonesia Police, has actually been around for the past few years," said Sri Mulyani.

"Because I was one of those invited at the first launch and this may be strengthened again," he added.

On the same occasion, the Director General of Taxes (Dirjen Pajak) of the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu), Bimo Wijayanto said that his party had discussed with the Special Task Force for Optimizing State Revenue. The discussion was held yesterday at the Kemenkeu office.

"Regarding the Special Task Force, yesterday afternoon we had a discussion, we invited the full Special Task Force team except for Mr. Novel to our office," he said.

Bimo emphasized that his party is committed to coordinating with the Special Task Force for Optimizing State Revenue. Especially, said Bimo, the coordination concerns securing state revenue both from the prevention side and from the enforcement side.

"We are committed to coordinating and synergizing especially to secure state revenue both from the prevention side and from the enforcement side," he said.
