After Inaugurating New Office, Danantara Will Be Injected With IDR 162.35 Trillion By Foreign Banks

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Danantara Investment Management Agency, Rosan Roeslani said that his institution is projected to receive new funding of 10 billion US dollars or equivalent to Rp162.35 trillion (assuming an exchange rate of Rp16,240) in July 2025. The funding comes from foreign banks. Rosan said that since it was launched by President Prabowo on February 24, 2025, Danantara Indonesia has shown significant achievements with international investment cooperation worth 7 billion US dollars or equivalent to Rp113.64 trillion from Qatar, Russia, China, and Australia. "The trust is very, very extraordinary from abroad and we are still exploring several other collaborations and other funding," said Rosan as reported by the Presidential Secretariat press release, Tuesday (1/7/2025). 

Rosan delivered the remarks during the inauguration and thanksgiving ceremony of Danantara's new office, Wisma Danantara Indonesia on Jl Gatot Subroto, South Jakarta on Monday (6/30/2025). 

The inauguration was attended by President Prabowo Subianto, Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka and ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet. Rosan expressed his appreciation and gratitude for President Prabowo's direct direction to establish the institution's head office at Wisma Danantara. 

He emphasized that Danantara Indonesia currently manages assets of more than 1 billion US dollars and oversees 889 strategic State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN). "What is happening is a very big responsibility, which we are fully committed to, Mr. President, Mr. Vice President, to maintain this mandate as well as possible," said Rosan. According to Rosan, Wisma Danantara will be a "big house" for the state, business world, academics, and stakeholders to collaborate towards Indonesia Emas 2045. "And with the existence of Danantara, God willing, we can accelerate Indonesia's economic development, targeting Indonesia's economic growth to reach 8 percent in accordance with the direction of the President," said Rosan.
