CLEO Aims To Achieve Double-digit Sales Growth While Enhancing ESG

PT Sariguna Primatirta Tbk (Tanobel Group) is a producer of Packaged Drinking Water (AMDK) as part of the Tanobel Group with the IDX ticker code: CLEO:IJ, committed to continuously pursue double-digit sales growth while enhancing standards of environmental and social governance principles or ESG (Environmental Social Governance). As a producer of packaged drinking water with a product advantage in the form of pure water processed using nano filter technology, CLEO has officially obtained eco-label certification for the recyclable content in several products.

"With this certification, CLEO has successfully met the SNI ISO 14021:2017 which is a self-declared environmental label. This is a manifestation of CLEO's commitment to meeting the established environmental aspects. It also complies with BPOM Regulation No. 20 of 2019 regarding food packaging," said Melisa Patricia, CEO of CLEO.

CLEO's commitment to sustainable environmental sustainability has been ingrained since the establishment of the Company. From the beginning of its formation, CLEO's founders have been determined to only use PET raw material gallons that are free from BPA (Bisphenol A), a harmful substance that can cause various diseases such as cancer, autism, and others.

This environmental commitment is also manifested through the use of glass products as an alternative to PET materials. Not only that, the Company's seriousness towards sustainable business in harmony with the environment is further evident with CLEO's presence as the bottled water company with the most solar power plants in Indonesia. Furthermore, CLEO's factories are also equipped with wastewater treatment facilities (IPAL).

CLEO also actively organizes environmentally conscious activities. In commemoration of World Environment Day, CLEO demonstrates its commitment to environmental sustainability through the #LangkahMurni Beach Clean Up action at Sanur Beach, Bali on June 22, 2024.Through this action, the collected waste will be processed into valuable goods.

CLEO hopes that by taking small steps together, it can make a big impact, and the company can be part of the global movement to preserve environmental cleanliness.

The company believes that consistently implementing ESG principles will have a positive impact on CLEO's overall performance, both directly and indirectly. This is proven by the first quarter of this year, where the company recorded a net profit of Rp115.3 billion, almost double compared to the same period in 2023 which was Rp59.9 billion. Sales during that period reached Rp626.5 billion, an increase of 37.6% from the same quarter in 2023, which was Rp455.4 billion.
