The 12th IndoEBTKE ConEX Opens Opportunities For Green Economic Growth

Friday, 25 Jul 2025

The 12th IndoEBTKE ConEx 2025 is established as a platform to create opportunities for green economic growth and to promote strategic collaboration across sectors and nations.

"This year's event will adopt a more open and collaborative approach, and it will serve as Indonesia's clean energy week," stated the Chairperson of the Organizing Committee for The 12th IndoEBTKE ConEx 2025, Mada Ayu Habsari, in an official statement in Jakarta on Friday.

This largest international meeting in Southeast Asia will take place from November 26 to 28, 2025, at the Nusantara International Convention Exhibition (NICE), PIK 2, organized by the Indonesian Renewable Energy Society (METI) and the Indonesian Energy Conservation and Efficiency Society (MAASKEI), with support from five other associations, including AESI, AEAI Indonesia, GBCI Indonesia, APPLTA, and MEBI.

The theme selected is Positioning Indonesia as a Regional Green Powerhouse to Support Indonesia Emas 2045. The 12th EBTKE ConEx 2025 is designed as a strategic platform to outline Indonesia's clean energy roadmap, where various strategic commitments will be announced, new partnerships formed, and innovative solutions presented.

The event will feature key messages from global leaders, panel discussions with experts, exhibitions of the latest technologies, and networking sessions that facilitate the establishment of strategic partnerships. It is anticipated that this will have a long-term impact on accelerating Indonesia's energy transition and strengthening its role as a regional leader in clean energy.

Additionally, this event serves as an initial step to enhance Indonesia's position on the international stage as an attractive and reliable destination for clean energy investment.

By demonstrating a strong commitment to energy transition and the ability to facilitate multi-stakeholder collaboration, Indonesia can attract more investments and strategic partnerships necessary to achieve national energy targets.

The Chair of the Committee for the 12th IndoEBTKE ConEx 2025, Eka Satria, added that the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) held on July 24, 2025, is part of the pre-event series.

This is a collaborative effort with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as the Knowledge Partner, bringing global expertise and perspectives into the discussion.

The FGD gathers stakeholders from various industries, ranging from traditional energy sectors to renewable energy technology, including multinational companies, innovative startups, policymakers, and strategic investors, as well as relevant associations and state institutions such as embassies.
