After deciding to end its membership in the Indonesian Direct Selling Association (APLI) and leaving the MLM scheme in marketing its products, CNI is now focusing on marketing based on the Mixed Marketing Concept (MMC). This effort is certainly to respond to the challenges of business competition and the shifting market trends that increasingly embrace digitalization. One of the strategies implemented by CNI to address the challenge of shifting market trends is by transforming the concept of CNI Sales Counter by adopting some aspects of the franchise system. This is a strategic step for CNI that is now focusing on marketing based on the Mixed Marketing Concept (MMC) after leaving the Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) scheme since last October. The "new face" of CNI's sales counter is called CNI Store. Its inauguration was held on July 2, 2024, at the CNI Head Office. CNI Store introduces several new concepts that were not present in the MLM scheme. The main concept is to make it easier for consumers to access CNI products, requiring a place for the distribution and promotion activities of CNI products carried out with the Mixed Marketing Concept (MMC) model. This is in line with MMC-based marketing, which not only makes it easier for consumers to purchase CNI products online but also offline. CNI Store adopts some aspects of the franchise system, which is currently open to CNI partners consisting of distributors and sales operators. However, it still has differences from the traditional franchise model. "CNI Store operates with standardized systems and procedures. However, some aspects are designed to be simpler and more flexible, such as operational hours that allow CNI partners to obtain much better profit margins. And the most significant aspect is the zero license fee, meaning there are no charges imposed on CNI partners for using the CNI brand in offline and online media," explained Abrian Natan, the CEO of CNI Indonesia. The management system is also a CNI strategy in fulfilling commitments with its partners with a flexible and non-restrictive system. However, on the other hand, CNI still ensures that the supply chain runs at its maximum because it is managed and controlled directly by CNI, with a centralized transaction system and operated using applications and technology. Abrian also added that CNI Store is a realization of the MMC concept applied by CNI because it integrates the best elements of existing marketing models to optimize product promotion and distribution strategies. The inauguration of CNI Store was also filled with charity activities in the form of distributing 100 boxed meals to the community in the CNI Head Office area. If you are curious to experience a new shopping experience for CNI products, you can visit CNI Store at the CNI Puri Indah building. There will certainly be many more outlets in the future, starting from Jabodetabek to all over Indonesia. Or please visit www.cni.co.id for more detailed information about CNI Store. "The locations of CNI Store are determined by PT CNI according to the needs of geographical development and must meet the specified standards. The target is to have 1000 CNI Stores throughout Indonesia by 2025," Abrian concluded.
