In today's competitive era, having a strong educational background is not enough to succeed in the job market. Supporting competencies are also crucial. After evaluating last year's training and competency exams, we have seen the impact of this program on participants who are the closest community to the port," said Guna Mulyana, CEO of IPC TPK.

The training and certification program is a continuation of the Joint CSR Pelindo Group, which has been implemented since 2020, where 5 Pelindo subsidiaries collaborate to improve the competencies of school dropouts through formal and informal education. In its implementation, Pelindo Group partnered with the North Jakarta Muhammadiyah Youth Organization as the organizer of the activities.

In the 2022 Competency Training and Certification Program, 80 participants who did not have permanent jobs passed the certification exam. After obtaining competency certification from the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP), some participants have found new jobs with increased income. In addition, there are also participants who are motivated to enrich their knowledge to become freelance workers in the field of design and digital marketing.

"We express our appreciation and gratitude for the consistency of IPC TPK together with Pelindo Group in supporting our efforts to improve the competencies of the younger generation around the Port of Tanjung Priok. In addition to increasing the income of the community, we have also felt a reduction in social problems.

Hopefully, similar programs can continue to be held so that more participants can benefit from it," said Rizki, Chairman of North Jakarta Muhammadiyah Youth.
