Sinergi ONE Pertamina And PTK Support Pertamina Lubricants In Strengthening Lubricant Distribution

PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental (PTK) and PT Pertamina Lubricants (PTPL) are enhancing synergy within ONE Pertamina through a cooperation contract to strengthen maritime and port services for tanker base oil cargo, which is a raw material for Pertamina lubricants.

The collaboration between these two Pertamina Group entities includes ship provider services such as providing light vessels (KKR), logistic services like terminal operator services including mooring and unmooring to support the loading and unloading of Tanker Lube Oil Base (LBO) cargo, marine services such as Oil Spill Response to anticipate oil spills during cargo operations, and other maritime services.

The cooperation agreement was signed directly by the President Director of PTPL, Werry Prayogi, and the President Director of PTK, I Ketut Laba, on Tuesday (30/7) afternoon in Jakarta.

The President Director of PTK, I Ketut Laba, is optimistic about the collaboration and ensures that PTK services are carried out with excellence while adhering to Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) aspects.

"This collaboration is in line with PTK's commitment to providing reliable ships and terminal operators, supported by a professional fleet and crew that are professional, have integrity, and comply with HSSE aspects. It also creates a mutual effect for the two Pertamina entities and strengthens ONE PERTAMINA as a form of optimizing resources and capabilities of state-owned enterprises to achieve common goals," said I Ketut Laba.

This collaboration is a significant milestone in strengthening and improving service efficiency in the national energy supply chain, especially for PTPL as part of the Sub Holding Commercial & Trading (SH C&T). PTK, which is part of the Sub Holding Integrated Marine Logistics (SH IML), is committed to utilizing and developing strengths in the port industry, leading marine logistics services in the world.

The collaboration between PTK and PTPL is expected to support operational efficiency and accelerate lubricant services for customers. This partnership is also expected to provide real contributions to the industry and society, as well as create Value Creation within the Pertamina Group to strengthen its position as a leading company in the energy sector.
